Michelle Albala is an inspired artist and designer. Michelle grew up in a family of prominent gem dealers, spending her childhood playing among colored stones, diamonds and pearls. While attending the California College of Arts and Crafts, Michelle earned her BFA in Sculpting and Painting, and then spent a year abroad studying Art History in Florence, Italy. Upon graduation in 1995 one of her pieces of sculpture was selected for exhibition in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
