GEMAGINE — A CELEBRATION OF JEWELRY AS ART.

The artists who exhibit their work through Gemagine do not create commodities, but rather jewelry sculptures.  No piece was a preconceived notion, engineered to meet a specific price point or fit a fad.

Instead, these pieces were inspired by a special gem or brought to life to complete an artistic vision. I have been told many times that a gemstone sat in the studio until it “told the artist what it wanted to become”. In some cases vintage elements were rediscovered and enhanced to be reborn in a contemporary world. In others it is the unique organic qualities of pearls or the daring use of unfinished gems that hallmark the artist’s vision.

Please remember that most of these works are one-of-a-kind. Once acquired by our collectors it will not be repeated. Additionally, our collection will constantly be changing as new works are discovered.
